Question 1

What can I give Daynook to get started?

Accepted Answer

You can provide a syllabus PDF or a clear photo of your syllabus. Daynook uses that document as the starting point for finding dated exams and deadlines.

Question 2

What does Daynook identify in a syllabus?

Accepted Answer

Daynook looks for dated exams and deadlines in the syllabus you provide. The dates it finds are shown for you to review; the experience does not promise that every date will be found or interpreted correctly.

Question 3

Do dates go straight to my calendar?

Accepted Answer

No. You review the findings privately first. Only the exams and deadlines you confirm are saved to your calendar, so you can check the dates before they become part of your planning view.

Question 4

Where do my saved exams and deadlines appear?

Accepted Answer

Confirmed exams and deadlines are organized in your calendar and weekly views. The weekly view helps you see the workload gathered around the dates you have saved.

Question 5

How do Daynook reminders work?

Accepted Answer

You can choose a reminder lead time of 1, 3, or 7 days. You can also turn on an optional flag for dates with multiple confirmed obligations, which helps call attention to busier days.

Question 6

What should I not assume Daynook does today?

Accepted Answer

Daynook does not promise guaranteed extraction from every document, automatic access to campus systems, or campus integrations. The current flow is based on the syllabus PDF or photo you provide and the dates you review and confirm.
